Jason was a commercial organic vegetable grower for 30 years. He still grows his own food and continues seed saving in his garden in Co Clare, Ireland. He brings a wide range of experience of voluntary​/activist work to this role and has previously been on the boards of the Irish Seed Savers Association, the Organic Growers Alliance (UK) the Organic Growers of Ireland, Ennis Farmers Market and the Irish Organic Association. He was formerly an advisor to the Gaia Seed Sovereignty Programme for the UK and Ireland and from 2021-24 was the Ireland Coordinator on that programme.
