Bárbara’s work brings together ecology, culture, and storytelling, helping connect news, narratives, and collaborative strategies that support frontline defenders and community-led environmental action. From Brazil and now based in Brighton, UK, she brings experience working with Indigenous peoples and grassroots communities across different Brazilian biomes, including the Amazon, Cerrado, and Atlantic Forest. Bárbara holds an MA in Ecology, Culture and Society from Goldsmiths, University of London. Alongside her consultancy work, she is also an artist exploring human relationships with the more-than-human world.
